‘No Protests With School Children, Violates Their Rights’: West Bengal Govt Sends Notices

Amid protests in different sectors against the RG Kar rape and murder case, the West Bengal school education department has alerted all schools of the state that protest marches cannot be held with school-going children.

This comes days after three schools got show-cause notices from the DI (District Inspector) of Howrah on Thursday for “involving” students in protests. However, school authorities claimed that the marches in question took place outside school hours and that the schools had nothing to do with them…
