VHP Activists Threaten Teachers over Christmas Celebration at School in Palakkad; Arrested

Palakkad: Three activists of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) were arrested by the police for threatening teachers who organized a Christmas celebration at the Government UP School in Nalleppilly.

The accused has been remanded to judicial custody. Meanwhile, the teachers clarified that the event was not a major celebration and that the children only arrived dressed in Christmas-themed attire. Furthermore, no cake-cutting or elaborate celebration took place in the school….
