Students of AUD Stand in Solidarity with Professor Facing Disciplinary Notice

On April 1, students at Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) gathered at the Karampura campus to express their support for associate professor Kaustav Banerjee, who has been issued a show-cause notice by the university administration. He is accused of "inciting disorder" during a student protest held last month.

The notice states that Mr Banerjee participated in a public meeting on March 24 and allegedly delivered a "provocative speech" that led to disruption and disorder on campus. It claims his actions encouraged students to act in a disorderly manner, prompting the administration to call for police intervention…
