Row Over ‘Namaaz on Campus’ At Ganpat University: Students were New, Will be Careful in Future, says Varsity

A day after Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal staged a protest at Ganpat University as videos of students purportedly offering namaaz on campus surfaced, the university located in Kherva, Mehsana, issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the students in the video were new and unaware of the rules.
Videos of students purportedly offering namaaz on the campus of the private university surfaced earlier this week following which, on Tuesday, VHP and Bajrang Dal members staged a protest by reciting Hanuman Chalisa and Ram Dhun, and sprinkled “gau mutra” outside its gates….
