Presi drafts model code of conduct, SFI protests

Presidency University has drafted a set of model code of conduct for the students and employees to follow on campus. This is for the first time the university has prepared such a code of conduct in the written version which they want to implement after some fine-tuning, said university authority.

The preamble of the code of conduct of Presidency University reads, “The model code of conduct of Presidency University has been drawn for its employees and students for sustaining the high ethical standards of this heritage institution and of the broader community as a whole in which we function.” For the employees, the model code of conduct has seven important points, including act of misconduct, while for students, university has mentioned nine points, also including act of misconduct.
