One of the IITs to act on 'caste profiling for jobs', others vague

MUMBAI: At least one of the IITs has decided to act on the complaints over discriminatory practices such as seeking caste and JEE rank details during their campus placement process. It plans to take a relook at the processes and issue guidelines to recruiters next year. The process for the current year's placements has already commenced, however, interviews will only start from December 1.
