NIT-Calicut shut for three days in view of students' stir, suspension withhold.

The National Institute of Technology-Calicut (NIT-C) at Kozhikode in Kerala has been shut for three days in view of stir by students on Thursday demanding suspension of a student who protested against a celebration in the campus in connection with the Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration should be revoked.
The suspension of Vysakh Premkumar, a degree student of electronics and communication department, has been put on hold until the appellate authority decides on the student's appeal.
