The Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Vivekanand Vichar Morcha on Tuesday screened the movie ‘72 Hoorain’ at the institution’s convention centre amid opposition from the university’s students’ union.

The movie, scheduled for theatrical release on July 7, is reportedly based on terrorism and has seen backlash from several quarters that have termed it “propagandist”. There was no response from the JNU administration on the screening or the criticism.
