In TISS Mumbai Independence Day Speech, Speaker Makes Anti-minority Rhetoric, Propagates Hindutva

In the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, or TISS  Mumbai, the guest speaker at the  Independence Day program was accused of propagating Hindutva ideologies and making anti-minority statements.

During his speech, Girish Y Prabhune, a Padma Shri award winner and pro-Hindutva activist, mentioned Islam four times. He stated, “Bharat was under the turmoil of Islam and British rule for centuries, and now we are free.”…
