Allahabad University has issued a formal notice to Prof. Vikram Harijan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medieval and Modern History, warning him against making comments on Hindu deities. The university has cautioned him to refrain from engaging in discussions on sensitive issues like religion and culture that could potentially harm the institution’s reputation.
