Apprenticeship News: Universities may Face an Uphill Task of Designing AEDP Curriculum Introduced by UGC for July 2025

Come July, college students will have to dedicate additional time (depending on the tenure of their course) to work as apprentices to get industry-related knowledge. In March, UGC released the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) guidelines, to enhance employable skills and outcome-based learning in students. The initiative will prepare students for the job market, but the universities are unprepared to roll out a curriculum based on UGC guidelines…
