As the first cohort of students enrolled under the four-year undergraduate programme at Delhi University prepare to enter their final year, faculty members and students across various affiliated colleges have expressed concerns about challenges of implementing the new system, from inadequate infrastructure to lack of clarity about the curriculum and no increase in the strength of teaching staff.

Delhi University was among the first central universities to implement the four-year undergraduate programme under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, beginning in the academic year 2022-2023.
